The San Andreas Fault
Added by Lawrie Ryan on Mar 19, 2008
A graphic representing the San Andreas fault in California. The oceanic and continental plates move in the opposite direction along the fault line, creating a region in which earthquakes are common. Both San Francisco and Los Angeles are at risk from earthquakes.
This resource is from the unit Moving Plates which is part of Absorb Chemistry.
