Explaining reaction rates and temperature

Added by Lawrie Ryan on Feb 27, 2008

An animation illustrating why temperature effects the reaction rate. A stylised microscopic view of two reactants demonstrates that the greater the temperature, the greater the number of collisions and hence the faster the reaction.

This resource is from the unit The Effect of Temperature which is part of Absorb Chemistry.
